Is it possible to listen to music in a car w/ an installed CD player through an MP3 player?
I’ve been driving a ’98 Ford Escort for years. It came w/ a casette player. I bought an adapter so I could listen to MP3s through my cell phone. I’m looking @ getting a ’07 Ford Focus which has an installed CD player. As far as I know, it doesn’t have an auxillary jack. So, is it possible to still be able to listen to MP3s from my cell phone in a car w/ an installed CD player? Do they make adapters for that?

The Focus may have Ford’s Sync option. It’s a hard drive in the car on which you can upload MP3s.
If it doesn’t have an auxiliary jack in the front, it may have one in the back. You can open it up and check for yourself. If it does, you can run a cable from there to the front of your car and hook up your ipod. Someone with basic electronic knowledge should be able to do this for you if you aren’t sure about it. Most CD players nowadays come with an auxiliary jack in the back of the unit so you can hook up remote CD systems.
