How can I listen to CDs or MP3s instead of radio in car with only standard FM/AM sound system?
It seems like the Iriver transmitter would do the trick, IF it just gets plugged into one place in the car and then you connect it to your MP3 player and that’s it. I don’t have anything else in the car to connect to as the radio is built in with no jacks. Is it that simple to use that transmitter or does the car system need another attachment?
It doesn’t have a cassette playter. It only plays FM/AM stations. I’m so sick of the radio and would love to be able play my own music in the car.
PS I HAVE A IPOD SHUFFLE THE SMALLEST ONE IPOD MAKES. WILL THIS FIT THE JACK FOR THIS FM TRANSMITTER?

if you have any MP3 player you can buy an FM transmitter. you can select the station and plug it into the headphone jack on your CD player or Mp3 player. there is one at walmart i picked up for $10 and it works fine. There is some other ones for around 40-70 but idk what could be so spectaticular compared to the one i got for 50 bucks cheaper. this should help you out quite a bit. your right the radio does get annoying. hope i could help
