how do you hook up an amp and a subwoofer in a factory installed radio of 98 mercury sable?
i have a 98 mercury sable, it has an odd oval shaped head unit and it doesn’t come with a cd player. there is no aftermarket stereo system that make a head unit for my vehicle. now, what can i do to hook up an amp and a subwoofer?
i’m using a mp3 to cassette converter to listen to songs in my car. i really don’t think this is a good sound setting.
crutchfield has an adapter that only allows you to replace the factory head unit that has a rotary knob for the climate control. but my head unit is not rotary. it is more like a switch. so if i install that adapter, i will lose my ac and heating.
by the way, would it be possible to hook up the after market radio to any other place of the car?
