Radio Auxiliary Input Kit from BMW?
I bought this adapter from BMW so I can plug in my MP3 player or Ipod.
Since my X5 doesn’t have an aux input( that’s why I got this adapter).
My car has a radio & CD mode. How will the Mp3 player or Ipod work if their is no aux mode?
Being a 2005, it should offer you an AUX mode once you connect the new adapter to the back of the radio. That’s what happened in my M3 when I did this mod. But if your radio truly doesn’t have that mode, some adapters will mimic the CD changer, so you would switch to that mode to listen to your MP3 player. You’ll know more once you hook it up.
