Are there any adapters or other mp3 players that fit into an apple iPod cable?
The reason I ask is because I have the cable in my glovebox from my Pioneer car deck and want something to store my music in there. Seems like a waste to get a nice expensive iPod that you never see and sits hidden in the locked glovebox.
I like the sound and the interface/controls of this cable. Adapting to the front with just 1/8″ audio seems clunky and not much control.
Only ipods work with the ipod connector, sorry. You could perhaps get a cheap refurb one, or a used one with battery problems since if it’s staying in the car, you won’t need much battery life.
