Airport Security…?
I’m flying next week and I was wondering about the procedure for airport security. I know you have to take you shoes off and put your carry-ons on a conveyor belt, but my question is this. Do I have to take my electronics, such as my MP3 player, digital camera, and chargers out of the carry-on and put them in a bin or is it ok to leave all that stuff in my bag and let it go through that way? Any help you can give me would be greatly appreicated as I don’t want to look dumb or slow things down at the checkpoint.
As said above, the only thing that has to come out of the bag is the laptop. If your electronics are in the bag then thats fine, just leave it there. The only thing you have to put in the basket is whatever is in your pocket, wallet, keys, cellphone, etc. I take my belt off automatically because it always rings the thing and obviously shoes come off. Even if you ring or feel like you are holding the line, don’t get flustered, it happens to the best of us.
