Chrysler infinity sound system?
I have a 99 LHS with the 9 speaker infinity system, and want to upgrade the head unit and possibly the speakers. My question is how to do this without having to completely rewire the whole stereo and speakers. I have the wiring harness to integrate an aftermarket head unit to the factory amplified system, but I had used it before, and I installed an in dash dvd/cd player, and I lost about 40% of the volume. It wasn’t a great head unit, which might be a reason for the loss. I am buying a high quality cd/mp3 reciever, so hopefully it will work better. Any thoughts? Why the volume loss? What about speakers? The system is factory 2 ohm components. Where can I get high quality replacements? What will work?
It wont work with out a complete refit as far as sound quality and volume
