Does anybody know a free alarm clock for Windows XP that will wake up the computer from hibernation?
I need an alarm clock for my computer that will play mp3 files. I can’t hear my cell phone alarm and I don’t have a regular alarm clock in my dorm. The alarm clock should be able to wake the computer up from hibernation because I do not want to waste electricity and keep the computer up all night. Please tell me if there is any way I can either program the computer to make it an alarm clock or download a free program off the internet. Thanks.
Is there any other way? Maybe using a notepad or something?
You are not looking for a software. What you want is configure your BIOS to Wake On Lan. Then you configure you routeur to wake up your computer at the time you like. You then need to configure a Task in the Task Manager to play the music you want when your computer starts.
