Does anyone know of an alarm clock that can wake you up to a random cd track or MP3 (not from IPOD)?
I don’t own an IPOD, I don’t have much use for one, and even if I did, I wouldn’t want to have to remember to place it back in the docking station every night.
I’ve made a CD of some great wake up music, like Sex Machine by James Brown, Here Comes the Sun by the Beatles, and Start Me Up by the Rolling Stones. But any one song when heard over and over every morning can lose it’s effect…
There are numerous radio/CD player alarm clocks on the market, but none of them seem to be able to wake to random tracks, or at least that function isn’t advertised or listed as a feature. There is software than can do this, but I’m not moving my computer to the bedroom just to use it as an alarm clock.
Also, I don’t think I should have to spend a ton of money either, I mean, it’s only an alarm clock.
I’d love to see the answer to this as well. I got the Boston Acoustics CD radio for my birthday and it doesn’t do random tracks. It sounds awesome though and plays MP3 CDs.
