places to get free CD’s on the internet?
I know sometimes record labels will give free music CD’s to radio stations in exchange for playing them on the air and thus giving artists publicity. Is there a similar thing for people who don’t work at a radio station–artists who give out 1 free copy of their CD’s to individual people hoping they will like the music enough to buy more of their music? I know there are a lot of free digital downloads/MP3′s like this, but I was wondering if anyone knew any artists/websites where you can actually get a full physical copy of the music for free.

Artists do at times offer free music on their blog. not free physical CDs tho
I’m curious as to why you want to know this. Are you trying to score some free music because you’re too cheap to buy it?, or as you just trying to discover new music?
