Car stereo help! (mp3 players)?
Ok I have a 1997 grandprix gt, and would like to buy a new stereo that has an mp3 player input (im sick of those fm transmitters ,too much static) but the problem is, I dont want to lose the controls on the steering wheel. does anyone know if there is an adapter of some kind so I can still use the steering wheel controls with an upgraded stereo? your help is much appreciated, thanks:)
If you go with a Pioneer deck in the DEHP2900 or above, it has a wired remote input. You can use a Peripheral piece, part #r PESWIPS or the PAC equivalent to interface the factory steering wheel controls. Make sure you purchase the correct installation kit, harness, and antenna adapter too.
