Is this whole mosquito noise adults can’t hear true?
I tried going through youtube videos of the mosquito sound and some I can’t hear and others I can, but I’m not sure if those are just examples of what it is supposed to sound like. Could someone link me to a noise of it or an mp3 or have any info on this?
If you’re refering to the cell phone ring tone, which I think you are, then yes its true. My 12 year old little brother has it as his ring tone so his teachers won’t hear his phone in school. I’m 24, and when he plays it, I can hear it and its very high pitched and annoying, however both of my parents are in their early to mid 50s, and they don’t hear anything when he plays it. So yep, its true. But I suppose some older people do have good enough hearing to still hear it, but in most cases since hearing degrades over time, they can’t hear it.
