Zune HD or iPod Touch??? Why??? What Should Be Improved?
I have never been a fan of Apple, I am using a Macbook, but I like Windows much better, its much more simpler to use. However the iPod Touch has more apps, but the Zune HD just came out not too long ago. I am wondering so about a years time if I make enough money I could buy one, I have chosen to wait for the next versions come out. Also I believe Microsoft should have had built-in speakers, cause those earphones break so easily. But which do you think is better??? Why??? What Should be Improved for Both???
Here is a breakdown between the two players:
iPod Touch:
-thousands of apps
-touchscreen
-safari internet browser is proven to be faster then ZuneHDs IE browser
-lots of accessories
-its Apple so its to be good quality
-Battery Life: 30 hours of audio, 8 hours of video
ZuneHD
-only about 20 current apps, but Microsoft says more to come by the end of year, including Facebook
-Beaaautiful OLED Touchscreen that blows the touch away in quality and clarity
-Very Powerful Nvidia Tegra chipset that is able to play some impressive 3D graphics and HD video
-HD Radio receiver, the iPod touch doesn’t even have a regular FM receiver let alone a HD Radio receiver (which is free btw)
-Better Sound and Video Quality
-Battery life: 20 hours of audio, 6 hours of video
-The Zune Software i say is much better then iTunes
-The IE browser on the Zune is slower then its iPod counterpart but with future firmware updates it is sure to be about the same.
So its really what you want out of it. Personally if the ZuneHD had the app base like the iPod, it would be beastly.
I would suggest spending an additional $45 on some decent headphones, because both Microsoft and Apples stock headphones SUCK!
