Zune OR Ipod – which one?
If I wanted to getan mp3 player, should I get the Ipod Nano 8gb 4th gen or the microsoft zune 8gb? Which one will I not regret getting? I don’t one to get one and regret not getting the other. It would really help if someone who owned both brands to answer this question. Thanks.
I personally prefer iPod over Zune. I don’t own a Zune but have used one before. The screen on the 8GB iPod Nano is 2″ while an 8GB Zune’s is 1.8″, although the LCD resolution is the same. The Zune also does not have a click wheel (it is incapable of scrolling through a long list of songs). Using Zune Marketplace is a more drawn out process than using iTunes. With Zune Marketplace, you have to purchase points and the points don’t even match up to the dollar amounts (79 points = $0.99). With the new iPod Nano, you will have a wider variety of colors: silver, black, purple, blue, green, yellow, orange, red and pink. The Zune only comes in black, blue, red, pink and green. The iPod is thinner and more compact and will run on PC or Mac. Zune will only function on a PC.
