HELP me out I have a virus on my computer!..(experienced people)?
My “un-computer savy” brother is visiting for the holidays and was using Limewire needless to say he downloaded obviously virus infected mp3 files…a couple days later some bull$hit program named “Antivirus 2009″ showed up and kept on initiating bogus pop ups saying that I had all kinds of viruses..anyway I uninstalled it, somehow I knew it wouldn’t be so easy!..it’s about 5 days later now and any time I open a web page another bogus message blocks the page and informs me that I need to download another program named “Antivirus 360″ because the page contains malware etc….PLEASE help me find a FREE way to kill this fcuking virus it’s really pissing me off!
I really don’t want to have to reformat my hard drive.
go to programs>accesories>system tools>system restore
there u will find a calendar type thing and select one of the bold dates that is before you have goten the virus
this will fix everything
if the restore doesnt work try another date
