Does anyone have the old firmware for Creative Zen 8GB? I need it! Have a ‘white screen of death problem!” ?
I bought a creative zen 8gb last November, and it worked GREAT for the first 8 months, but then I upgraded my firmware to the latest firmware version (1.21.01). In the days and weeks that followed the firmware upgrade, I encountered the White Screen of Death (WSOD) and although I could hear the music playing, I had to blindly guess my way around the mp3 player as the display was TOTALLY blocked out by white light. It seems that this problem is due to my upgrade of firmware. So my qusetion is if ANYONE HAS ANY OF THE VERSIONS OF FIRMWARE PRIOR TO 1.21.01 FOR THE CREATIVE ZEN 4/8 GB!?!?!? or knows where I can get it?!?! Please do send it to me at this e-mail. I would be super happy to have this problem fixed! tks!
hmm thats weird if u have the latest firmware u shouldnt be getting the white screen. well anyways heres the firmware. u could get it here.
