what kind of mp3 player should i get?
im probably gonna get a nano ipod (3rd gen) if i cant find anything else.
i found this other mp3, iriver, i thought it was pretty awesome. if you know anything abt that one pls tell me. does it work good? how long have you had it? rate it?

the main points im looking for are:
-basically durable (wont die if i drop it once or twice)
-as long as possible battery life (i dont wanna have to keep charging it; should be able to last @ least a day w/o charging)
-reasonable price. (im only 14, no job, 20/month allowance. i want something abt 100-250; maybe a lil more, depending.)
-easy to use (i want to be able to basically understand it, w/o having to read the manual and w/o breaking it.)
-looks. (it has to be a cool looking kinda gizmo! ipod and irivers look totaly out there! just awsome!!)
I have the Sandisk Sansa e280 myself and I really like it. I’ve had it for around 4 months now and haven’t had any problems with it. I haven’t dropped it yet, but it seems pretty durable with it’s metal back. The battery lasts up to 20 hours which is pretty good. I’ve only had it die on me once, and then I hadn’t charged it in a few days. I only paid $90 for mine on sale,but you really have to shop around for the best price currently. Sandisk sells it direct for $150. I think it’s really easy to use. It has a mechanical scroll wheel as well as navigation buttons, all on the front. And it’s easy to load with music, I sync mine with Windows Media Player. Plus, it has a ton of features which iPods definitely lack: it can play audio and video, FM radio, has a voice recorder and can record FM radio, has a Micro SD expansion slot for additional memory expansion, and a user replaceable battery. One of the things that made me decide against Apple players was the fact that you have to send them in to get the battery replaced and it costs $50 or more to do that. I saw the Sansa replaceable batteries at a store recently for $20, and you can do it yourself. I think it’s very nice looking, but that you really have to decide for yourself.
