Does anyone have problems with charging there insignia 8mb mp3?
I have been charging it and it will not charge all the way only one of three battery bars. I tried just a four hour charge and still one bar then over night and only one bar. I can sometimes get it to charge full but only once. And sometimes it does the opposite of charge. I think when I plug it in it just sits there and does nothing I think I have to do something to it to make it go “oh I have to pull in electricity, duhr im stupid”
I really regret buying this product I bought it new like 3 years ago and I have just recently been using it everyday on my long drive to school. I want an ipod or zune.
(You probably mean 8GB… not 8MB; right?)
anyway, you didn’t mention the exact model of your device.. but you said the device is at least 3 years old. if that’s a fact, you should consider that a lithium-ion battery’s average life is about 3 years (no matter how much you’ve used it in 3 years) … so, it’s understandable if it wont give you a full charge…
but then again: check the cable, the connection (to computer or charger) and be sure everything’s okay… if still no gain, then the battery’s old!
