how do i fix this stupid ILO 1 GB mp3 player?
a friend asked me to load her cd collection onto her mp3 player, a ILO 1GB (see http://gadgets.elliottback.com/2005/11/29/ilo-1-gb-mp3-player/ ).
first i used Nero 7 to rip the cd’s to mp3.
then i used windows media player 11 to sync the mp3 files to the ilo player.
now it won’t do anything. it’s stuck in a loop at start up “searching files, sorting 20%, indexing,” repeat
i tried fixing it with the firmware update but the updater couldn’t find the device.
