How can I add password to a link in my website?
I want to add mp3 to my site buy I dont want everyone to have access to it..is there any way I can add a password if someone want to download it? either in html or java script??thanks
You could do it in javascript, but since javascript is a client side language, someone could always just open the source code in their browser and see what the validation is for the password, and the link to the mp3 anyway. You would need to use server side scripting in order to do this. There is an abundance of server side scripting stuff that exists, but truhfully if you had to ask this question, it’s obvious you are not familiar with them.
If your just trying to upload the file and share it withsome, you could try uploading it to one of the free file hosting places, I’m sure some of them have a password feature.
