Is it possible for an “mp3 file” to damage the sound of the speakers?
I downloaded a song ( LCD Soundsystem “All my Friends” ) and the song turned out to be just strange noises – not the actual song- . I don’t know if it’s a coincidence, but after playing the aforesaid, my stereo started sounding funny: like different to what I’m used to. I didn’t changed the equalization or anything.

No, it’s not possible. Unless it was played too loud. Otherwise, files usually don’t do anything to mess up external devices (like speakers). If you didn’t already, check the cables going from the computer to the speaker to check if it wasn’t plugged in all the way or if a cable is messed up.
