How can I switch the songs from the file saved on the computer to a different format?
All my songs are saved under the file name that my MP3 player supports, which is creative media player or something. I wasnt to re-name the file to .wma for windows media player(my main player). For example, when I click start>my music It show all my songs with the creative music symbol before them. I just want to change the file to .wma without deleting all the songs and re- ripping them.

OK, the file is actually already .wma its just .wma under creative media. btw- they aren’t all on CD. I borrowed some from the library and just put it on my MP3.
Actually , it is just as easy to re-rip them if you still have the Cd’s . In windows media player , all you need to do is change the format you want it saved as . If you have sonic foundry or cakewalk , you can batch convert , but the program is expensive .
