which mp3 player is better?
I only need an mp3 player for music and to record lectures that I’m not really paying attention too. i want one that can record well at a distance, with an instructor that has a quiet voice as well.
I was thinking of either the Creative Zen Stone Plus 2GB MP3 Player With Speaker – Black ($49.95) or the Samsung 2GB MP3 Player (YP-U3JQP) – Pink ($39.95)
they are on clearance at the moment and only have little left, so I have very little time to decide. i was wondering if any of you can help. if you have a suggestion about another mp3 player, please suggest it, but ALSO comment on the ones that I want to get as well.

Zen players are great. I have 3 models but not the Stone.
At 2Gb, you’ll regret not getting one with more memory.
The Mozaic is not much bigger and has an excellent built-in speaker.
But to record a lecture, I don’t think that any mp3 player would have the capacity via it’s built-in microphone, for that, you’d need to test it out.
You’d probably need something that can take an external directional microphone to get decent sound. You’d have to check at the store for this I would suggest.
It’s maybe a few dollars more, but in the long run, you’ll have less regrets getting something better (memory wise)
