I know there’s been a lot of hype over the lack of a camera in this version of the iPod Touch, but this iPod touch 64GB is an amazing product even without a camera. I have a camera on my cell phone, I don’t need to carry around another one. I purchased the 64 GB version, and even with tons of apps, music, videos, and books, I’ve barely made a dent.
If you can afford the extra space, do it. I’ve never used an earlier generation Touch, so I don’t know if the speed difference is noticeable, but I can say that this generation feels very fast and responsive. I purchased an accessory kit in addition to the iPod, and I recommend doing just that. The price differential by buying it on Amazon gives you enough to purchase accessories, compared to the price plus tax on Apple’s website/in store.

iPod touch 64GB – Great Device! So Many Apps! Highly Recommended!
I bought a iPod touch 64GB to replace my Creative Zen MP3 player, and have never been happier with any portable electronic device. The iPod touch 64GB worked perfectly out of the box, easily connected to my Windows Vista laptop, to iTunes for my music, to my home WEP secured WiFi connection, and then to the Internet for access to the “App Store”.
The main positive points are:
+ Ease of use, the interface is very intuitive
+ Huge number of Apps (many are free), including games, Kindle Reader, YouTube Viewer, Mail, Web Browser, etc
+ A lot of accessories are available
+ It just works!
The few negative points are:
– Included charger cord frayed quickly around the connector edge
– My large fingers occasionally hit the wrong keys on the touch screen (takes practice)
– Internal speakers are not very good
This is a great device that works exactly like I had hoped!

iPod touch 64GB is my first ever from apple,I’m enjoying the Apps they are awesome. In places where you have ubiquitous wifi, Ipod touch is awesome to own. Good pass time for me with my iPod touch 64GB. Some times annoys me at the fact that I cannot use windows & google apps. Apple should allow them to put their apps on.

iPod touch 64GB – Not perfect, but
Well, Apple could have added a camera and perhaps an FM radio to this iPod touch 64GB otherwise useful gizmo. Sound quality is very good. Battery life could be better. Where Apple really gets the customer is the ridiculous prices for the extras, like $30 for a .50 cent adaptor plug to get power from an electrical outlet! The 160+ page manual does NOT come with the Touch, but can be downloaded from the Apple site.
