Did I ruin my Mp3 player?
I dropped my Creative Zen Micro in seawater. I tried to open it but it didn’t open. Did i short-circuit it? Now I have removed the battery and will let it dry for about a week, although it didn’t get that wet, cause it was in my bag. What should I do ?
Never thought of using cat litter but I know rice does work. Key thing is taking the battery out immediately when something like that falls in the water otherwise it can short out because of the battery.
Take the battery out, put everything in a bowl/bag of dry uncooked rice for about a week. Two days isn’t nearly long enough.
Don’t try a hair dryer either, all that does is blow the water around in there even more.
