Creative ZEN leaking clear liquid?
A couple days ago my Creative ZEN mp3 player started leaking clear liquid from it’s casing after I had hooked it up to a PC speaker system.
It then shut off and when I plugged it into my PC, it said something to the effect of “please wait while rebuilding system”.
So my question is, what is this clear liquid leaking from it and will it cause damage to the mp3 player?
PS. And one more thing, for some reason it still turns on but I haven’t left it running long in fear of causing permanent damage.
Well your ZEN has an LCD (Liquid Cristal Display) so unless its been through the laundry i can’t imagine any other liquid being stored in. ‘cept for the battery but i’d assume that would be pretty secure.
When did it start leaking. Why? Because theres no reason why the “rebuilding” couldn’t have been caused by the same thing as the leaking. Try putting it in a box of silica gel.
