Trying to burn MP3 in WMP v10 – is there any way to create chapters or albums on the disk?
Can you divide up the music so that the songs of one group are put in one folder, those of another, &c., or divide the songs up by albums? I have burned exactly one disk, and it has 108 songs in one giant slug. I know it can be done, I just don’t know how to do it. I also have iTunes available to me, but it’s help file was written by a computer programmer, just like the WMA one, that is to say, they weren’t written for average computer users. So, an answer of “check in help” will be rejected forthright: I have. Can you help? Please?
Typically, I use dbPoweramp Music Converter, its free, and when you rip, you can rip each albumn into a seperate format. http://www.dbpoweramp.com/ Right click on the options, and under file creation you tell it {Artist} – {album}{Artist}-{track} which means it will create a directory named ARTIST-ALBUMN and inside it will put the Artist Name and Track.
In windows media player if it recognizes the songs as a seperate directory. If it doesn’t recognize them, then you will have to manually enter the information. Also by default, it records them to Microsoft’s Format WMA
In iTunes, you have to change the default format as well, but otherwise it operates much the same as Windows Media Player.
The Yahoo Launch Cast Music Engine is another option, it is more like the PowerAMP converter and is pretty easy to use.
