Why do I sometimes get errors when importing CDs using iTunes?
Occasionally I get “skips” or “pops” in the MP3 files I create. I am importing at a 192kbps setting. My computer and processor are about four years old – maybe the software is too advanced for the computer? I have cut down the number of programs and processes running in the background, but this occasional problem is still annoying.
Is there any common or simple fix for this? Thanks!
iTunes is very fussy about importing CD’s sometimes. The main reason is because there is a weird tech issue between the CD and the version of iTunes. iTunes has been trying to work out this bug for a few months, and no progress. I imagine it will be worked out in a week or two.
