why my 5.1ch surround sound not working with MP3 disc?
when i play DVDs in my new DVD/MP3 player (coby DVD-514) , all the spreakers of the connected 5.1ch surround (from Jwin) works fine. But, i was playing a MP3 disc today, some of the speakers and the subwoofer is not working!… why its so?
Mp3 discs used to work fine in this same surround sound system when i connected it with my earlier DVD/MP3 player (from Jwin) which i had purchased with the surround system.
one difference in the “audio set-up” section of the two player is: the older player had a “Prologic: on/off” option which is not in the new Coby player.
any help will be greatly appreciated !
I believe all mp3′s are stereo only and so the best you’ll get is right, left and subwoofer. Now some surround sound systems can simulate surround sound from stereo but you have to switch than on.
So if your mp3′s are playing throught the front two speakers only nothing is wrong.
