Vista file question?
I store all my MP3 files in folders by artist and such and I want to know if you can change a main file setting that will change all the other folders.
I want to remove track #, genre, and rating and have about 100 folders so I don’t want to do it manually.
However I did it to a few folders last night and when I opened the laptop from sleep mode I found they all went back to the default and now list the parts that I took out the day before.
Any way to change all the folders and MP3 files so they don’t list all this info but change them all in one setting?
Try opening a folder that is organized to your liking, then click on the “organize” tab at the top left of the folder and select “Folder and Search Options”. Under the “View” tab, click “Apply to Folders” and check the other folders.
This may get what you want.
