Do iPods have a bios that allows them to be reconized by other devices.or just a software on the hard drive?
I have an external hard drive that is powered by USB. I want to buy a car stereo that has a USB port on it. The stereo recognises usb flash with wma/mp3 files. I want to make it recognise my 80gig hard drive. So I am hoping that there is a software out there such as iPods that will allow this to happen
for the most part ipod only works with the provided software. thats why i didnt buy the icrap. I got a Cowon Iaudio which was cheeper, has beter sound quility, can be a usb host, has drag and drop, plug and play, audio recording in wav or mp3, it plays Flac files and the best part there is no need for any software
