I have a JVC KD-G340 radio, is it possible to hook my Ipod up through the AUX input?
I have a 1/8 headphone to headphone cable, but I plug that in and turn the reciever to AUX input and nothing happens. I know I can buy an adapter but I’m trying to avoid that. I read somewhere that it will work with other mp3 players but not Ipods- does anyone know anything about this?
That’s bulls*it. It is an analog input. If it works with something, you should be able to plug an 1/8in to 1/8in headphone plug into it and plug it into the headphone output from the ipod or other mp3 player. be sure to turn your volume up to 3/4 of the volume to achieve the best sound. If this does not work, you may have a bad radio. since it is an analog input, there would be no way for the radio to know whether it is an ipod or a laptop.
