I need to reset my computer to how it was yesterday. How do I do this?
I’ve been getting into recording lately, and so downloaded a free sound recorder (Expstudio Audio Editor) and it worked great. However it wouldn’t let me save files in mp3 format, as I had the free version. So, naturally, being a sh!t disturber, I googled key codes and serial numbers for the program. I downloaded a few sketchy ones that didn’t do anything, cracking the codes, or harming my computer. But on the 3rd download, a big problem arose. I extracted zip files (now desparate to get any sort of key code) and sh!t hit the fan. I cannot remove it off of my desktop, let alone my computer. My AVG Anti virus software keeps informing me of trojan and trojan based viruses, malicious softwares, etc. And my spybot keeps informing me of important registry changes. All because of this stupid false code-cracker! Please help me! How can I restore my computer back to how it was before I downloaded the files, hell, even the bloody free-safe downloaded Expstudio Audio Editor!!!!?????
Sorry to say this but it serves you right for trying to steal software, You are now infected with spyware / malware. I suggest you start googleing the name of the Trojan / virus AVG is warning you about and look for articles on how to remove it. If you do not know what you are doing I suggest you call geeksquad or whatever and have it removed professionally.
Rather than pay the 29.95 for the program you liked you will now have to pay 100$ or more to have it fixed correctly.
