Help with Audacity and ITunes?
I’m trying to learn how to play songs on my guitar. I use audacity to slow solo parts down to better learn them, but when i try to import a purchased song to Audacity from ITunes, it wont allow me to bc it is a mp4. Where can i find a converting program that will convert mp4 to mp3 without losing much (if any) sound quality?
This is funny in the sense that this exact question has been asked countless times before, and will undoubtedly be asked countless times sine – but all by people seeking to strip the DRM from iTMS-bought music.
While there are programs that are specifically written to do that (keep in mind that this is illegal), the easiest – and less buggy – way to do this is to burn those files to a CD using iTunes, then importing the tracks from the CD using iTunes. Be sure you have the MP3 encoder selected in ‘Advanced’ tab > ‘Importing’ tab on your iTunes preferences.
