Lame MP3 encoder not working help!!!?
Ok so I extracted all the files. and now windows needs to know what program created it? I try to choose adobe to open it, then word pad, then media player..lol..but nothing will open it. I want to use it with Audacity
You’re not supposed to open it. It’s meant to be installed in the Audacity folder.

Or just try http://lame.buanzo.com.ar/ and click on the Lame for Windows link and choose to run the file. Hopefully it will install into Audacity automatically. I used the unzip and install method.
