iPod power adapter/converter for South Africa?
I am bringing my iPod on a trip to South Africa and want to make sure I have the correct power adapter/converter. I have the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit, but I’m afraid it won’t work with my iPod charger, and that none of the pieces work in Africa. What should I buy, or will that work?

Should’nt be a concern. There are only 2 major voltages: 110 and 220. I would be surprised if some country used less or more. On your adapter, it should say something like “Input Voltage – 110~220″. This means that it should work with what ever voltage you give it. I wouldnt be surprised though, if that kit did not have the plug. S.A. uses a very odd one, the older version of what was once used in the U.K. (see link). If anything, you may just need to hunt for a plug adapter to get it to fit.
