iPod Touch 3rd Generation question?
Okay so if the iPod Touch 8gb 3rd generation is actually a 2nd generation. Then should I jailbreak it as a 2nd gen or 3rd gen? Because the details says it’s a 3rd generation but the 8gb doesn’t have the hardware that 3rd gen has. So what generation should I jailbreak it as? What kind of generation accessories should the the 8gb 3rd generation fall into? Should I get a 2nd gen case for it? So effing confusing. Screw apple.
the 8GB is a 2G it was always a 2G and will probably always be a 2G. it should be jailbroken as such and treated as such. it had no hardware or cosmetic updates just a $30 price drop
the 3G is only 32 and 64GB and is cosmetically identical to the 2G so all 2G accessories will fit fine on the 3G
