This is probably the billionth iPod touch question, but help!?
Ok, so I walk into Best Buy to look into the new iPod nano and I see the most beautiful iPod yet, the new touch.
So, what I’m having doubt over now is:
a) what do I do with my 2nd generation 4GB pink nano?
b) is the touch compatible with a PC or do I NEED to have OS X?
c) where will the safari browser work?
d) is it just a waste of money?
e) why does apple intentionally plan and market new products all the time in order to force idiots like me to buy buy buy?!

oh yeah one more thing, should I just buy the iPhone?
I know it’s practically the same thing, but I already have a renewed contract with Tmobile and plus it just seems like too much of a hassle to change.
Oh yeah one more thing,
When was the touch offically available in stores?
September 13?
Also, it is true some stores only carry the 16GB models and few have the 8GB?

If you do not want to sell your ipod on ebay, im preaty sure that you can try to trade it in at the apple store, and just buy you iPod touch there.

the safari will work anywhere with wi-fi,
its not a waist of money just bought one and it is great. I was expecting it to be not as good, but I was surprised. And yes you can go on any website, I check my email, youtube and go on AIM all the time, you just need to be close to a Wi-Fi area, but its free. Also its not hard to type at all because when im going to type I just turn it on its side and the keyboard is bigger. If your wondering on how big the text is on a webpage, you can zoom in and out of the page with a touch of the screen, very easy to navigate through the internet. I only use it for music, because when I want to watch a video, I just go on youtube. Its also alot lighter and thinner than the iPhone. You can also choose to set your wallpaper from any image you can download from any website. In my school you cant use iPods, but you can use phones, so i just say its an iPhone and they buy it. I would get it soon because I had to wait in line for a while to get it, theyre sold out in alot of places. I totally think you should get it, absolutley worth it.
