iPod Classic questions regarding color, accessories, and staining.?
So I’m getting an iPod Classic (sliver OR black still not sure) and I am debating over several things.
1. Which iPod stains/scratches easier? Black or Silver?
2. So I was debating over a black or sliver iPod Classic. I know that it will get dirty so I want to do my best to prevent it from getting dirty. I know there is a black Incase Leather Sleeve for iPod classic but is there one but white?
3. However, if there isn’t, would a sliver iPod Classic look weird in a black Incase Leather Sleeve?
4. What about the Click Wheel? Would it get dirty easily?
5. Is there anything to protect the Click Wheel?
6. What color do you have and why did you choose it?

I’d like to add what if your fingertips were sweaty and dirt/ink/chip stains were over it can you turn your iPod off and wipe it with a cloth to remove it?
I have an 80gig black ipod nano. The aluminum has NO scratches. I do have a case for it but I think that the aluminum will only get scratched if you really abuse it. The click wheel doesn’t show dirt. They don’t show stains. I would highly recommend a screen protector I got. The screen on the ipod classic is plastic so it scratches very easily. This screen protector also comes in full body form so nothing will scratch. I dont recommend the whole body because its very hard to put on. It comes with a lifetime warranty if it scratches. Mine hasn’t scratched or fallen off.

The ipod is easily cleaned because it doesnt absorb grease . You still shouldnt try to get it dirty though. When you clean it turn it off and wipe it with a damp cloth.
