Should I get a new mp3/ipod?
I have a 4G ipod (no color) and had it for 3-4 years. I also have an 1st generation ipod shuffle 512mb when it was really cheap ($30) for not having to be afraid of dropping/losing it while outside. I feel slightly guilty wanting a new mp3 player (such as zune 80, ipod classic, or the ipod nano) because I have this freakishly expensive 4G ipod that is colorless. I got this ipod right before apple replaced it with the ipod video.
That was when everyone started getting an ipod (which slightly pissed me off) and recently I saw people getting new ipod nanos to replace their old one they got a few years back. Should I save up for an ipod nano because I think it is time to upgrade.
note that my 4G 20gb ipod isn’t even full (maybe 2gb of it)
since you have not much music (2 gb) i would suggest a nano. the silver nano at $149 gives your 4 GB (1,000 songs) to store your photos, music, videos. i do not think you need a zune 80 or classic since you do not need the large hard drive space they both offer. if you like customization better the zune 8 has the same features as a nano plus engraving skins and wifi sync.
