Apple iPod Nano 8GB, 5th Generation?
Ok so I am going to get a Apple iPod Nano 8GB, 5th Generation. I know it has:
Built-in video camera
Larger 2.2-inch display with 240-by-376 resolution
New polished anodized aluminum finish, curved glass, and new electrifying colors
Built-in mic and speaker
VoiceOver
FM radio with Live Pause and iTunes Tagging
Built-in pedometer
Genius Mixes and Genius playlists
Accelerometer and Cover Flow
Holds up to 2,000 songs
8 hours of video
Up to 24 hours of audio playback per battery charge or up to 5 hours of video playback
but what i don’t understand is this: Can it hold 2,000 songs AND 8 hours of video or is it Can it hold 2,000 songs OR 8 hours of video??

Approximately 2000 songs OR around 8 hours of video, or a combination up to a total of less than 8GB. Some of the capacity is needed for firmware. What’s left is all that’s available. Keep in mind that how much is taken up by any given song or video depends on the actual size of the file, they’re all different. Classical music, for example, can be as much as twice the file size of say, an acoustic song. For $30 more, I would highly recommend getting the 16GB Nano. No matter how much content you have now, your library will increase way more quickly than you imagined. Either way, congratulations on your new iPod!
