broken ipod nano, can i get it replace?? please reply!!?
I got a new ipod nano 16gb 5th gen. for christmas. unfortunately i had it in my pocket and had something thrown at me. a small dent was left on the lower right side of the logo on the back. the screen went white and had a thin blue line running down the middle. it doesn’t turn off or anything, it does so when the battery is drained. bottom line it turns on but i cant do anything.
i don’t know if it can be replaced. ive read Apple’s warranty policy and as far as what i read it is considered ”accidental” and it is not covered. it was purchased at best buy
so can anyone clarify if i can still take it back and have it replaced or if im doomed?

and yes i am willing to lie about it. so any scenarios that might/will work please tell. however its a dent thats not really noticeable if unless inspected dramatically or simply just starring at it. so thats the other thing.
what are the odds it will be examined and to what length?
Well I dropped my new iTouch in water but the indicator wasn’t touched so our story was that it just didn’t work. Maybe you could tell them it was dented when you got it and never actually worked right, but you just figured it was used. Then ask the person if they saw Santa there cuz there was a receite with it 
. Act all innocent and worried.
