Will the new microphone ear phones of apple allow me to have a mic on my ipod touch?
i read taht apple is coming out with new headphones with mic capability. THis will allow people to record thigns on their nano. will it also let me use a mic in my ipod touch 1ST GENERATION with things like the Skype app?

You are pretty limited when searching for a mic on 1G touch. NO MIC PLUGGED IN THRU THE AUDIO JACK WILL WORK. The only type of mic that will work must connect thru the dock port, which is inherently a bit more expensive to produce.
The iVoiceIII from http://TouchMic.com is your best bet, they sell that mic for $34 i believe, and shipping is only 4 bucks…
